Nordic Walking Active Cup in Hohegeiß
On Sunday 23 August, another event in the Nordic Walking aktiv Cup will take place . Hohegeiß is hosting this sporting series for the first time and invites participants to join three different walks around the mountain village, starting at 10 am.
Harz Culinary Days at the Herb Park
On Friday 28 August, the Altenau Herb Experience Park is hosting a special culinary experience as part of the Harz Gourmet Days , under the theme ‘Garden Party for the Senses’. Throughout the evening, the park will be serving a 9-course menu in finger-food style. Between courses, guests can stroll through the herb park and browse the spice gallery.
"Superhero Forest" puzzle booklet on the Forest Climate Trail
A companion puzzle booklet, ‘Superheroes of the Forest’, is now available for the interactive family walking trail ‘Forest Climate Trail’ around Buntenbock. Join the Brockenbande on an exciting 7-kilometre journey of discovery exploring the themes of the forest and climate, and solve the puzzles in the booklet like real forest detectives.
Nordic Walking Active Cup in Buntenbock
On Sunday 6 September, the Nordic Walking Aktiv Cup will take place in Buntenbock. As part of the Nordic Walking series, it offers a variety of routes around the ponds and, upon registration, a voucher for the summer toboggan run in Hahnenklee.
Nordic Walking Active Cup in Clausthal-Zellerfeld
On Sunday 27 September, theNordic Walking Aktiv Cup will take placein Clausthal-Zellerfeld. As the finale of the Nordic Walking series, it offers not only a variety of routes around the ponds but also a prize-giving ceremony for all participants in the 2026 Cup.
Harz Classix Opening Concert
The ‘Harz Classix’ classical music series in Clausthal-Zellerfeld is once again presenting three top-class concerts from 25 September to 28 November. The opening concert, “Italian Dream”, featuring the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, will take place on Friday 25 September at the Marktkirche zum Heiligen Geist in Clausthal.
Upper Harz Autumn Festival for Families
On 11 October, the Kunsthandwerkerhof in Zellerfeld will be bursting with autumnal colour: the Upper Harz Autumn Festival invites you to browse, marvel and join in the fun from 11 am to 5 pm. Visitors can discover regional arts and crafts and look forward to live music as well as autumn-themed activities for children.
