It is expected that the mining and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld will once again be hosting its town festival in 2027, in collaboration with GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG/Tourist-Informationen Oberharz, on Marktkirchenplatz and Adolph-Roemer-Straße in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
The town festival will kick off on Friday afternoon with the official opening, inviting visitors to join in the celebrations on Marktkirchenplatz. Saturday evening also offers the chance to enjoy a lively atmosphere on Marktkirchenplatz from 7 pm onwards, with live music featuring well-known hits from the 1970s to the present day.
Admission to the festival and all events is free of charge. Further information will follow in early 2027.
On Saturday and Sunday, Clausthal-Zellerfeld’s clubs, organisations, businesses and shops will also be showcasing themselves with games, activities, demonstrations and all manner of culinary delights for young and old alike. The town championship will once again be held on Saturday, with various stations set up along the ‘Vereinsmeile’.
The ‘Vereinsmeile’ will be rounded off with a colourful stage programme and a food court by the Marktkirche. On Marktkirchenplatz, visitors can also enjoy the festivities from above on a new fairground ride.
